What methods of bearing assembly do we know?

We know mechanical assembly, assembly with heating and assembly with the use of hydraulics. Mechanical assembly is also known as a cold assembly, suitable for small and medium sized bearings. For large bearings, we use assembly with heating, the essence of which is the induction. To facilitate assembly in this type of method, it is recommended to preheat the bearing or the housing where the bearing is mounted. For larger bearings, we most commonly use assembly with the use of hydraulics, which is popular because it causes minimal damage to the elements during assembly.

What methods of bearing disassembly do we know?

We know mechanical disassembly, disassembly with heating and disassembly by oil injection. The first method is suitable for small and medium bearings, the key element of the second method are dismantling heaters, which are divided into heating rings and inductive springs. The latter method, however, makes it possible to disassemble the bearing with less force.
