Welding
Welding is fusing of two or more parts of the base material into an integral whole. Fusing is achieved by heat, by pressure, or by a combination of both, with or without the addition of material. In welding, the heat source is an electric arc generated by a welding device. The material combination is based on the temperature generated by the electric arc. Such a welding process is called electro arc welding.
In order to ensure the durability and quality of the weld, the welds, due to oxidation and ambient air, must be protected by protective gas or slag. Gas is fed to a liquid weld through the burner. A coated electrode may contain a coating that merges together with the electrode and causes the formation of a slag that protects the weld. The most common welding materials are
- metals, aluminium and various types of steels.
It is also possible to weld artificial materials. When welding artificial materials, the heat source is hot air or an electrical resistance.
Why are we the best choice for you?
We have a lot of experience in the field of welding. We offer clients welding services according to different procedures (TIG, MIG / MAG, REO, ...), and we adapt to your requirements, desires and needs. We offer welders, welding processes and standard quality.
A short description of welding procedures for easier orientation:
- TIG welding. In TIG welding, the electric arc is created between the non-volatile tungsten electrode and the welding agent. An inert gas, which does not react with a weld, is used as a protective gas. The most commonly used protective gas in TIG welding is argon.
- MIG/MAG welding. MIG/MAG welding involves creation of an electric arc by means of a welding source. The arc is formed between the welding wire and the welding machine. The weld joins the welded material and the added material and thus forms a welding joint or weld. MIG welding varies from MAG welding using protective gas. In MIG welding, an inert gas that does not react with a weld is used. For MAG welding, an active gas that reacts chemically with a weld is used. Generally, protective gas contains active carbon dioxide or oxygen, and this is why MAG welding is more widespread than MIG welding.
- REO welding. REO welding is a process in which the metal rod has a electrode deflection of the electrode in the holder. The arc between the electrode and the welding machine burns. The difference between the other procedures is that, in the case of REO welding, electrodes are always shorter due to combustion.
